About The Tracks
SUB (2025)
SUB is the sequel album to 2021's BUS. These tracks were produced in 2023 and 2024. SUB reflects a desire to return to the simplicity and fun of BUS, without thinking too much about concepts or techniques.

1. SUB
​
SUB is a short intro track featuring a synth solo over a simple drum loop. The solo was performed on the standard MacBook Pro keyboard as a midi controller directly into Logic Pro X, and then edited meticulously.
​
2. BOOGIE
​
BOOGIE is the sister track to FUNK off of Superstimuli (2024). Whereas FUNK was mostly a raucous and overwhelming ode to Funk music, BOOGIE is the same but with House now as the medium. The intro was created with the Korg Volca Beats Drum Machine.
​
3. FUGLY
​
FUGLY was inspired by that meme of the metal pole falling on the ground that was funny circa 2023. That's the sound that opens the whole track.
​
4. Mind
​
Mind was inspired by a day at school where I was particularly overworked, underested, and generally mentally unwell, where I was sat in my first class at 9am and could have sworn I heard screaming somewhere distantly. Another time, many semesters later, in another early class I had this fixation in my mind where this scenario was about to play out in which everybody was about to start screaming like banshees. I found both of these to be very frightening experiences, so I made a track that reflects the chaos and fog of my mental state during those times. The screams are sampled from old hollywood movies of all kinds. The gong was sampled as well. The intro drum solo was a sample from Brian Chippendale of Lightning Bolt.

5. GIGAJUMP
​
Gigajump was named by my friend Philip who I bounce many of my musical ideas off of (and is also the editor of my Youtube Channel). Everything on this song is either standard Logic Midi instruments or my Roland JD-Xi
​
6. 24/7
​
24/7 is this albums midway ambient interlude. This track came out of the same part of my life that Comforter and over my shoulders from I Dropped My Banana (2022) come from. I was being stalked by a friend who had a particularly scary outburst at me that I had a number of nightmares about. When I wasn't able to sleep, I would stay up in my bed and make these tracks on my laptop here. I held onto 24/7 for a while, and eventually recorded a synth solo over it on my JD-Xi years later.

7. POONANI TSUNAMI
​
POONANI TSUNAMI came out of sheer boredom. I was bored one day and realized I hadn't made a fun Youtube Athiest song in a while so I just sat down and got to work. The single cover of this track was originally going to be a lot more explicit, but thanks to my friends Lara and Dani for featuring in the actual single cover.
​
8. WALL OF DEATH
​
Wall of Death was an attempt to make something that kind of sounded like metal music but was still firmly in the electronic camp. There are samples of both System of a Down and Lamb of God in there.
​
9. Up Up + Away
​
Up Up + Away is the oldest track on Sub, having been completed with the Superstimuli sessions in 2022 and 2023. When I decided to include it on this album, I actually lost the original session on my computer, so what you are hearing is the demo (it sounds fine).
​
10. Doomsday, Pt. 1
​
Doomsday, Pt. 1 is the first half of a larger song that can only be heard across two different albums of mine under two different names. The decision to do this was partially inspired Rush with their Cygnus X-1 song series.
Walk of Shame (2024)
​
Walk of Shame is the most honest album I have made to this point. It features my vocals and songs in a stark and revealing way, making it one of my greatest artistic achievements yet. The album is reflecting on a time in my life in which I was going through the dissolution of a relationship, the dissolution of my band, and my dropping out of Berklee. 2023 was a disastrous year for me. This album is a rumination on the falling apart of my life during that time and my attempts to rebuild it.

​1. Look What I Found
​
Look What I Found is a stark and simple synth driven intro song which I composed on my laptop lying in my bed unable to sleep at night. The lyrics are suicidal ideations.
​
2. Identity
​
Identity reflects the disdain I held at the time towards my peers at the Berklee College of Music. It seemed that they lacked any artistic merits or individual identity whatsoever, and would do anything to anyone to climb the social ladder and get attention. The lyrics switch between surrealist nonsense, my perspective, and the perspective of these these people. This makes the narrators identity switch throughout the track, reflecting the flimsy nature of identity in general, and hinting at the fact that I not so different from all those people. The song features samples from Dub Sample pack I got at school and Gojira.

3. I Think I'm In Love Again
​
I Think I'm In Love Again is about a girl I fell in love with very quickly in august of 2023. It burned way brighter than I was used to. The feeling was both that of uncontrollable excitement, intense longing, and brutal anxiety.
​
4. Dance Dance Dance
​
Dance Dance Dance reflects my frustration with my friends that I seemed to be the only person who ever wanted to go out and do things. It felt like I was begging to people to hang out with me which was humiliating. Upon reflecting on this time now, I don't know if I just in a particularly vulnerable state or they were being assholes, or both. Dance Dance Dance is also the longest i've ever worked on any single piece of music ever. I worked on this track for at least a year without ever really walking away from it.

5. Intermission
​
I like to include a half way point in each of my albums, to break up the experience into smaller pieces for listeners. This piano piece is that for this album. Recorded on my great grandfathers piano. The song didn't sound write on any other keyboard.
​
6. Doomsday, Pt. 2
​
Doomsday, Pt. 2 is the second half of the Doomsday song series, with the first half being on the following Youtube Athiest Album SUB (2025). This song reflects on a suicide attempt in the summer of 2023 and features apologies primarily to my mother.
​
7. Clean
​
Clean is one my favorites. I struggle writing accessible music, so when something as accessible as this comes out of me I feel relieved that I can still connect to other people somehow. The lyrics reflect a time when my best friend and roommate was brutally depressed and I had to be the one to pull him out of bed every morning.
​
8. Go Away
​
Go Away directly addresses my former lover/bandmate who's exit from my life was the final domino in hitting rock bottom.
​
9. Walk of Shame
​
Walk of Shame is the longest song on the album, with lyrics addressing a multitude of specific people in my life. Overall though, the song is the realization that nobody is coming to save you, so you just start walking. The shift out of Shame and Anger and Guilt and into that of Willingness and eventually Hope.
Superstimuli (2023)
Superstimuli is a reflection of my extremely overstimulated, caffeinated, online, and stressed out mind.

1. iPad Baby
​
iPad Baby was created mostly on a train from Newark, New Jersey to Boston, Massachusetts. I was pulling mostly from Gabber, Grindcore, and Drill 'n' Bass to create the fast and obnoxious groove that permeates the track.
​
2. FUNK
​
FUNK features the iconic drum groove at the beginning of Footsteps in the Dark by the Isely Brothers. I was mostly pulling from bands who use repetitive grooves that grow slowly over time like LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and Swans. I actually sample Oxygen by Swans at one point.
​
3. Ego Trip
​
Ego Trip has a ton of samples I couldn't possibly even find now. The James Brown interview right before the drop is available on YouTube though and I highly recommend you watch it. His insane narcissistic drugged out energy is something I tried to channel in this track.
​
4. Birds are Chirping
​
Birds are Chirping is this album's halfway point ambient interlude. It interpolates chords and phrases from the next song on the album.
​
5. Sun is Shining
​
Sun is Shining is mostly a guitar feature that samples a demo version the Bob Marley song of the same name, as well as a drum groove which I cannot remember the name of but is used all the time in Hip Hop.
​
6. Guitar
​
Guitar is a total ode to the guitar and is essentially an Etude I wrote to challenge myself. The bizzare licks and odd song structure are heavily inspired by Frank Zappa.
​
7. AMEN
​
Amen I wrote to piss off my friend Jon who got really into choral music. I sample Tchaikovsky and Eric Whitacre and essentially wipe my ass with their music on this track. I also sample Nas, MF DOOM, and Elliott Smith, and some memes, not to mention the Amen Break of course.
​
8. Xander Drops Out of School
​
Xander Drops Out of School was initially a demo that I whipped together one morning and fully intended to never release. By the time this album was done, I was so depressed and burnt out I was just like "fuck it" and added it to the end, thinking nobody was would care and it would be like an outro bonus track type situation. Everybody tells me this is their favorite of mine though, which has always been surprising to me. The solo was recorded in one take and is entirely improvised, even the part where everything else drops out. The end is loosely based of a chord progression from Concerto by Cacophony.
Ghast (2022)
Ghast was my first attempt at making something nakedly honest, but still instrumental. It was heavily influenced by Doom/Drone Metal and Dark Ambient.

1. Egg
​
Egg is an intro track that loops the same chord progression until it is fully engulfed in distorted guitars and vocals that have been mangled beyond recognition.
​
2. Evil Earth
​
Evil Earth started out as a final project in my Advanced Modal Techniques class at Berklee and then edited into something that more aligned with my tastes. It features a synthetic mode I created called Ionian b9 Split 5th which was the following scale degrees: root, b2, M3, P4, b5 AND P5, M6, and M7. I like that it has 3 areas within it that have 2 half steps in a row (M7, root, b2) (M3, P4, b5) (P4, b5, P5). I wanted this song to reflect the filth and drudgery of the world

3. Scorched Earth
​
Scorched Earth is a standard Drone Metal song inspired by the likes of Sunn O))). I was never quite able to make it sound as evil as they do though. I was going for the feeling of the entire earth being engulfed in flames. Like a rapture, where all of the filth of the previous track was entirely incinerated.
​
4. New Earth
​
New Earth features samples of lightning storms, hurricane winds, and heavy rainfall. I wanted to invoke the feeling of the empty planet of the previous track is being terraformed into something new, where entire oceans are falling out of the sky.
​
5. Ghast
​
Ghast opens with a field recording of me sitting outside 160 Massachusetts avenue watching the world pass me by. The track was inspired by a fight I had with my father that resulted in us not talking for a bit. I have many possible interpretations as to how it fits in with the "story" of the previous tracks, but I don't feel like sharing them.
I Dropped My Banana (2022)
I Dropped My Banana is a collection of Homework, Experiments, Offshoots, and general Odds and Ends that didn't fit on any other project. The primary influence was The Beatles White Album, in that I was just throwing everything at the wall to see what stuck.

1. Fly (feat. Screenager)
​
Fly started out as a homework assignment my bandmate needed to submit for class. I sampled and made this.
​
2. 7co Circle Time
​
7co Circle Time was inspired by the frustration I hade with the incessant construction noise outside of my classrooms. I sampled said noise and created a guitar driven tune with it.
​
3. asdfjkl;
​
asdfjkl; is based around a sample of Wang Ni To Iringo by D.O. Misiani & Shirati Jazz. My song does not do that song justice. This is a goofy novelty track.
​
4. House 1
​
House 1 was my first foray into a (at the time) newly sparked interested in House music. I made this as a final project for my Groove Writing. It features a sample of Fleetwood Mac's Everywhere and was heavily inspired by Daft Punk.
​
5. I am Frusturated
​
I am Frusturated was a possible intentional spelling mistake (I don't remember). I was just really mad I guess (I don't remember at what).
​
6. Malnati
​
Malnati was BOTH the final project to my Music Technology class and my Harmony 4 class. I was heavily inspired by Stereolab. The name is an ode to a former peer of mine in High School.

7. i don't like this track i made it a long time ago
​
I don't like this track i made it a long time ago is a relic of an era of my life where I thought I could be a beatmaker. I sample I Didn't Understand by Elliott Smith, Love and Happiness by Al Green, and Full Moon (Death Classic) by Death Grips.
​
8. Falling Down x Glimpse of Us (Hardstyle Remix)
​
Falling Down x Glimpse of Us (Hardstyle Remix) is a relic of the time when I first started lifting and my gym friends would put me on to this most obnoxious awful soundcloud gym music that I kind of post ironically loved. I made my own just to see if I could do it and I did it too convincingly I guess because this was my most popular song for a while.
​
9. Bedrock of the Discipline
​
Bedrock of the Discipline was titled after a quote in a Veritasium video. The song samples those "noises from outer space" videos on YouTube of claiming that you are listening to the natural sounds of Jupiter or whatever. I also sample the actual audio of the Apollo 1 disaster. This track didn't age well and I wish I never made it.
​
10. Golden Corral Royale
​
This track I made as a game with a friend at Berklee where we gave ourselves one hour to create a piece of music. I sampled this insane video from reddit of this huge brawl at a Golden Corral.
​
11. Passionflower 2 (feat. Jon Gold)
​
Passionflower 2 features a sample of the song Passionflower by my friend Jon Gold. I said he was featured but he actually has never heard this track and doesn't know it exists. I just wanted the album to have more features. Also, this is one of the only times I tried getting stoned before making a piece of music. Mixed results.
​
12. Stroller
​
Stroller is a track that I literally have nothing to say about.
​
13. Ah
​
Ah started out as a drum solo that I recorded on my macbook and iphone inside Berklee's solo drum practice rooms that I then wrote and recorded guitar and bass parts over.
​
14. over my shoulders
​
over my shoulders was written in the middle of the night on my laptop in my bed as a result of me being unable to sleep.
​
15. Trash
​
Trash was my first foray into the iZotope Trash plug in. It has served me very well since then.
​
16. Ghast 2
​
Ghast 2 was my first time making a sequel song and releasing the sequel before the original. It features many of the same techniques as the "original" Ghast but is nowhere near as good.
​
17. Yo
​
Yo is an outtake from recording drums with Screenager where I just made this noise for some reason.
​
18. Cyclo (youtube athiest remix)
​
Cyclo (youtube athiest remix) was born out of a frustration I had with my old band Screenager in the slowness it took to release music. In fact, the whole Youtube Athiest project as a whole was really born out of my desire to be prolific and let my ideas be heard. This recording was eventually used as the template in the Screenager version of the song, which has many of the exact same stems as this.
​
Funny story: years after I released this was no long talking at all with anyone remotely affiliated with Screenager, they contact me via email and ask me to take down the song. I said no. They issued a copyright strike and got the whole album removed from spotify and youtube. all 25 tracks. Still on apple music though 😎.

19. Vassar is on Fire
​
Vassar is on Fire is from a time in my life where I would ask my friends to just send me random bullshit to sample (my beatmaker era). My friend Tim sent me this strange voicemail he got as well as a recording of the fire alarms going off at Vassar college (they did that alot apparently).
​
20. Little Fugue in G Minor
​
Little Fugue in G Minor was written by Johann Sebastian Bach a gajillion years ago. I learned every voice and recorded my own version so I had something to send to the colleges I was applying for. You can see the video on my youtube channel.
​
21. I don't like this one either
​
This is the oldest song on this album and was complete with the release of my very first album STOP TALKING TO ME (2021). Made while I was in high school still.
​
22. Cactus
​
Cactus is my attempt at a Whole Lotta Red type beat.

23. comforter
​
comforter is another song I made sat up in my bed being unable to sleep.

24. House 2
​
House 2 is my second foray into house music. I asked my brother to send me some bullshit to sample, hence the brainrot.

25. I Dropped My Banana (feat. Transient)
​
I Dropped My Banana is a spontaneously composed piece of music between me and my friend Julian the lounge area of the 3rd floor of the Berklee dorms at 150 Mass Ave. I was playing Bass and Controlling the Drum Machine, Julian was using the synth and guitar. We also had a mic going towards the room capturing the conversations of anyone who was in there with us.
BUS (2021)
BUS was made mostly in my dorm room during my first semester in college. It pulls heavily from my influences at the time, which was mostly IDM and Industrial Hip Hop. My intentions in making this album was to make the loudest album ever. Ironically, the mastering resulted in it being very quiet.

BUS is another relic of my beatmaker phase. This one sounds alot like Playboi Carti and Death Grips.

2. TheChristianScienceReadingRoom
​
TheChristianScienceReadingRoom is named after a storefront down the street from my dorm on Mass Ave, it caught my attention because I used to live down the street from one of these in my childhood home in New Jersey. The bells at the beginning are a field recording of me my friends jumping around on an interactive art installation along the Charles River. There were these metal plates on the ground that struck a bell beneath the floor when stepped on.

3. Oh No!
​
Oh No! amples that classic vid of the kid breaking his living room table. Endlessly quotable.
​
4. MF's
​
MF's is what I used to call everyone when I first got to school for some reason. Not "motherfuckers" btw, literally "M F's." I used a random number generator to program the drum groove in the beginning. I rolled any number between 1 and 16 and whatever number was landed on determined what 16th note a given drum would sound on for a 4 beat repeating pattern (1=1, 2=e of 1, 3= + of 1, 4= a of 1, 5 = 2, etc.). I started with a kick on beat 1 as to emphasize the downbeat, I just got lucky that the next number i rolled was a 5 so the first two quarter notes both had kicks on them.

5. VOLUME
​
VOLUME was particularly inspired by Death Grips, Meshuggah, and LCD Soundsystem. All of the synth are from my Roland JD-Xi and the drums are midi.

6. 150304
​
150304 was my first ever ambient interlude track, a tradition that I would try keep up with for most of my following releases. The name was the address and room number of my dorm combined, 150 Massachusetts Avenue, Room 304.
​
7. Mass Ave.
​
Mass Ave. is an ode to the loudness and chaos of the street I was living on when making this album. It was inspired mostly by my interest in Gabber and JPEGmafia. There are a number of field recordings I took of the street used here.
This whole album was truly influenced heavily by the space I was living in when making it. Most college dormitories are loud, I imagine, but one filled by musicians must be particularly noisy and chaotic. I was only on the third floor too, the lowest floor of any dorms in the buildings, with my room facing the street, so I was not spared any noise pollution from the road. 150 is right down the street from a firehouse and ambulance dispatch, so emergency vehicles were always barreling down the road with their sirens blasting. crosswalk at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Haviland Street is one of the busiest in the city at any given time. Also, we were in a major artery of a bus route coming out of New England's drug crisis epicenter at Mass and Cass, so there was no shortage of drug and mental illness induced hysteria taking place on the sidewalks. Oddly enough, I really enjoyed living there. There was so much life surrounding me, and I used it as a Muse for BUS. This track embraced it head on.

8. Caffeine
​
Caffeine was made on national coffee day so I just drank coffee until I literally couldn't anymore. I realized that every breath I took gave me a headrush so I recorded my breathing into a vocoder. I also sampled a video of Tyler, the Creator laughing.
​
9. Dragging
​
Dragging was the only track I started working on before arriving at college, starting it the summer beforehand. This track was the only one this album that reflected the depressive side of my personality.
​
10. PULSE
​
PULSE is the final track and I wanted to make something kind of creepy to end the album. I sample a drum cover of a death grips song.
STOP TALKING TO ME (2021)
STOP TALKING TO ME is my very first album and was created entirely during my junior and seniors years of high school.

1. Caps Lock
​
Caps Lock utilizes a chord progression which I still use and might make something with again someday.
​
2. Down/Out
​
Down/Out was me getting a feel for guitarmonies still. Inspired by the likes of Iron Maiden and Queen. The harmony in the B section was mostly pulling from Opeth though.
​
3. Ow!
​
Ow! was one where I got to record live drums with the limited equipment I had. I love the main riff and I still play it sometimes. I made this track while I was really late for some family function across town but I could not leave my attic until it was finished and my Mom and Grandma were pissed at me. Sorry!​
​
4. sum amnesiac shit
​
sum amnesiac shit was me making fun of the Radiohead album Amnesiac, which has some great songs but also some stinkers.​
5. idk idc
​
idk idc was written on my keyboard and then arranged to submit to colleges. I wrote a score which was a really roundabout way to play everything heard in this recording with just 3 people, but every person is basically doing some shit with their free hand or their feet while playing their primary instrument.
​
6. ScreeScree
​
ScreeScree was my first attempt at sampling. I chose to sample the drum break from a Strokes song off of Room on Fire, but I cannot remember what it's called rn (it's the one that has a drum break for me to sample).
​
7. Ow! (Slight Return)
​
This is was me tryna be loud and obnoxious. There are live drums here as well for a little bit.
​
8. Music For Aliens (feat. $platterface)
​
Music For Aliens was a rap song I made with my brother. Still very popular among members of my family.
​
9. Study Hall
​
Study Hall is a simple downtempo loop I made. I still really like the synth solo at the end of the track.
​
10. loud clouds
​
loud clouds was, at the time I made it, my favorite song I had made yet. It was heavily inspired by the score for Breaking Bad, which I was watching for the first time. In fact, at this point in my life I was heavily considering going to school for film scoring (thank god I didn't). I remember showing to my parents because I was so proud. Good times.
